Analyse des comportements de mobilité de résidents selon leur mode d’habitat, au sein de la région du Grand Genève

The purpose of this project was to analyse the mobility behaviour of people living in the Greater Geneva area. The aim of this approach is to provide input for a more global analysis of the environmental impact associated with different modes of living, from the point of view of mobility on the one hand and the housing sector on the other.

The mobility analysis focuses on the influence of factors such as density, quality of public transport service, type of housing and income on mobility practices within these housing types. It is thus possible to draw up a portrait of mobility behaviour by highlighting modal practices, the reasons for travel as well as the distances travelled and their variation according to place of residence. The level of detail offered allows for a precise quantification of the environmental impact as well as access to simulations of behavioural changes.
