Assessment of the incentives introduced by the City of Paris regarding reduced traffic zones

The Paris City Council offers a range of incentives aimed at encouraging people and companies present on its territory to adopt mobility that is less centred on personal vehicles and less carbon-intensive. The aid system is complex and is currently being revised when the 3rd stage of the Reduced Traffic Zone (ZCR) comes into force.

In this context, 6t is supporting the Paris City Council in the revision of its assistance system. In the short term, the aim is to overhaul some of them and to organise them in a more legible manner for the public. In the medium term, the stakes are to better articulate the Paris City Council’s aid with that proposed by the State, the region or the Greater Paris Metropolis and to put in place protocols allowing for a better evaluation of this aid.
