Defining transport scenarios for the conurbation program PA4

6t collaborated with Greater Geneva in developing 3 transport and urbanism scenarios to be submitted to the Swiss Confederation as part of its PA4 program. These scenarios, namely “laisser faire”, planification and green transition each exhibit the following elements:

  1. Transport supply
  2. Transport demand
  3. Mobility behavior

These three elements contribute to greenhouse gas and criteria pollutant emissions which are the key metrics of interest here. The objectives of this project are as follows:

  1. Measuring the emissions arising from the mobility of Greater Geneva residents
  2. Identifying levers to reduce these emissions so as to reach the predetermined goals
  3. Designing the three PA4 scenarios to align with the levers identified above
